Camden’s Best Place To: Enjoy the Harbor!
What would Camden be without the breathtaking views of its bustling harbor? Abutting its quaint downtown, Camden’s harbor is home to a wide array of boats, animals, and people all culminating in the gorgeous waterfront that we know and love.
So where is the best place to go admire these beautiful harbor views? Camden’s own Harbor Park!
Built in 1931 to compliment the Camden Public Library and restored in 2004, Camden’s Harbor Park has been both a local and tourist favorite for admiring the marina’s spectacular landscape. The park offers panoramic views of the lively Camden harbor and its main street. Enthusiasts will enjoy a harbor dappled in sailboats and white steeples, and will be able to observe the traffic of incoming and outgoing sails.
Along with a beautiful landscape and thriving wildlife, the Harbor Park also hosts many events for town guests. Onlookers can watch a seal visit the harbor while enjoying an assortment of craft fares, live entertainment, picnics, festivals, and even the occasional wedding.
